Created by: Barrier Islands Salt Co.

Barrier Islands Salt Co. handcrafts pure sea salt from the East Coast's last wilderness, the 130,000 acre Virginia Coast Reserve. We journey by boat to the deep Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Virginia's barrier islands to collect pure, crystal clear sea water, then use centuries old methods to transform it into sea salt. Every flake carries the story of our wild & pure Virginia coast. We're proud to be Virginia's only saltmakers since the 1700s.
