Sabrina is the founder and owner of Rise and Design Art Studio, a home-based ceramic studio in Central Pennsylvania. A few years after moving from Long Island, she rediscovered her love for wheel-throwing pottery and began selling her work in local boutique shops. After three years of experimenting, honing her craft, and building a community around her brand, she took the leap and launched Rise and Design as a full-time business. What started as a part-time passion has grown into something more colorful, joyful, and community-rooted than she ever imagined.

In 2024, Rise and Design officially became a woman-owned small business dedicated to crafting small-batch, wheel-thrown pottery that’s bold, playful, and made to be used and loved every day. Sabrina focuses on vibrant glazes, lively textures, and patterns that bring warmth, smiles, and personality to daily rituals. Whether someone is sipping their morning coffee or tucking their wedding ring into a handmade dish, each piece is designed with intention and joy.

Rise and Design puts extra care into every detail, from comfy handles to silky-smooth bottoms, which are thoroughly sanded, because the studio wants every piece to feel just right in the customer’s hands. Sabrina is always playing with new colors and ideas, which is one of her favorite things to do.
