Hi! I’m Sabrina—the founder and owner of Rise and Design Art Studio, a home-based ceramic studio in Central Pennsylvania. A few years after moving from Long Island, I rediscovered my love for wheel-throwing pottery and began selling my work in local boutique shops. After three years of experimenting, honing my craft, and building a community around my brand, I took the leap and launched Rise and Design as a full-time business. What started as a part-time passion has grown into something more colorful, joyful, and community-rooted than I ever imagined.

In 2024, Rise and Design officially became a woman-owned small business dedicated to crafting small-batch, wheel-thrown pottery that’s bold, playful, and made to be used and loved every day. I focus on vibrant glazes, lively textures, and patterns that bring warmth, smiles, and personality to daily rituals. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee or tucking your wedding ring into a handmade dish, each piece is designed with intention and joy.

We put extra care into every detail—from comfy handles to those silky-smooth bottoms (yes, we sand them thoroughly!)—because we want every piece to feel just right in your hands. We're always playing with new colors and ideas, it’s one of our favorite things to do!
