Old State Farms was founded in 2001 by Joseph & Alethea Burkett, after maple sugaring on their parents farm in NW Pennsylvania. What started as a spring time hobby has grown into a 3 generation family business. With time tested hands on experience and state of the art maple sugaring equipment we produce pure maple syrup products of unmatched quality and flavor. Their sap is harvested from wild grown maple trees in the Applachain mountian glacial soil, boiled in small batches on their high efficiancy wood fired evaporator and bottled by hand in their family's sugarhouse.
