The heart of the Vellum St. brand, these grass fed, tallow based bar soaps are a wonderful way to keep your skin clean & in fighting shape. Locally minded, sustainably focused & chef made, we source many otherwise discarded, food grade ingredients from area restaurants & farms, seeing their value & saving them from waste bins. Starting with biocompatable grass fed tallow, our bar soaps are gentle enough for the face, yet effective enough to wash away any dirt & grime you may accumulate in your day! Noncomedogenic & ultra moisturizing, tallow makes the perfect soap for the whole household, no matter how dirty!

All of Vellum St Soap Company’s products are made from food-grade ingredients that are locally and organically sourced. Often ingredients in their products are upcycled from local restaurants, which would normally be considered food waste. Their soaps, balms, salts, and candles are all tallow-based. All of the tallow in their products are sourced from animals raised on small, local, regenerative agricultural focused, pastured, and humanely raised. The company is female-run and founded.
